The launch of Eurasian Cultural Alliance's new digital art platform QAZART.COM
Event Hall of Forum, Almaty
27 June, 2019
Eurasian Cultural Alliance is delighted to present QAZART.COM, a user-friendly, centralized online platform that features portfolios, publications, and archives of Kazakhstani contemporary artists. QAZART.COM is an open source with a mission to help curators, activists, collectors, and scholars familiarize themselves with the region's current cultural agenda.

QAZART.COM includes artworks of the most active members of the country's artistic communities. While the content is filtered and carefully selected, we nevertheless aim to maintain maximum diversity to create equal opportunity for artists from all generations and backgrounds. The platform strives to provide financial support to artists and encourage visitors to explore, learn, and collect local works of art. In addition, significant artworks from private and public collections are featured for archival purposes.
The Central Asian region has a rich and complex history and houses several culturally important identities such as Nomadic, Post-Soviet, Post-Colonial, and Islamic. Furthermore, similar emerging art markets all around the world – from Chinese Avant-Garde to African and Latin American contemporary art – have experienced considerable and organic growth. We believe that the significance, uniqueness, and momentum of Kazakhstani contemporary art make it a desirable addition to the world's renowned private and public collections.
