The first solo exhibition of artist Intizor Otaniyozova tells a personal story of associations and sensations related to the control of an adult over a child, the large over the small, and the symbolic over the biological. The children's room is a place of concentrated absolute freedom and safety on one hand, but also a place of lack of autonomy, a confined space from which, essentially, one cannot leave without permission.

The artist also explores how complex systems reproduce themselves in the space of play, in practices of offense or resistance within board or children's games, and in the substitution of symbol by content. Otaniyozova does not let big narratives into her room, trying to create an isolated space where, from a certain distance, one can talk about things that are impossible to talk about.

This parable exhibition has no curator and is not a pure exhibition project. It is better perceived as an invitation to play with your inner child and think about what a personality looks like before identity. And about how our world becomes an extension of fantasies created in someone’s childhood rooms.
